Mentoring of key members of staff is often overlooked, but can prove invaluable. New managers may need advice, guidance or a sounding board outside of their normal reporting lines. Senior members of staff who are developing new skills may need re-assurance or an objective listener to help them in their new role.
The best mentors are those who have experienced similar situations and roles. I have worked in manufacturing and service industries in HR, factory and commercial management roles so I am able to draw upon a wealth of personal experience and professional expertise to act as a mentor at all levels.
